Did you try to fly a helicopter?
After a hit it starts almost spinning and in a keyboard and mouse, you cant even move correctly to safety of your spawn area.

I have to agree that the new game simply fails to capture the core Battlefield experience. While its current success is driven by the initial launch hype—the 'honeymoon phase'—I anticipate that player retention will become a major issue once that excitement fades in the coming months.
My primary frustration stems from the developers’ misleading communication regarding map design. We were explicitly told the beta maps were intentionally undersized for server stress tests, with a promise of significantly larger maps for the final release. This broken promise is a major letdown. We received maps that still heavily favor dense, chaotic combat, which often devolves into a constant 'meat grinder' instead of the open, strategic gameplay the series is known for.
The lack of satisfying tactical depth severely undermines the fun. I genuinely regret making this purchase and would seek a refund if possible. The game, in its current state, is nowhere near the standard of quality and strategic depth achieved by titles like Battlefield 4.

I couldn't agree more with you on retention, I've seen the same with BF2042. A lot of people keep going back to BF4, even if it did have it's own little quirks and such but the game play was so much better in my opinion. I think the graphics on 2042 and 6 are awesome but EA went way off course in the game play. Obviously this just my opinion, and we all know the saying about opinions.....
