Battlefield 6 Open Beta – feedback after ~7 hours played
I've spent around 7 hours in the open beta so far and wanted to share some thoughts. Overall, for a beta, the game is genuinely fun to play. It has a good pace, satisfying gunplay and definitely brings back a bit of that classic Battlefield feel. I know things can still change before launch, but here are a few suggestions and personal impressions:
Things that could be improved or adjusted:
• The scoreboard would look better with centered player score and a more visible, bold color like in Battlefield 3. It’s a small thing but adds to the overall clarity.
• Class balance could use some tweaking. Support seems a bit too powerful compared to Assault (which brings ammo) and Medic.
• Headshots with sniper rifles should award more points, especially from longer ranges. Something like 100 points for a 100m+ headshot like in BF3 would be perfect.
• Revives should give more points – 75 or even 100 – to encourage more teamwork. Right now it feels slightly under-rewarded.
• The HUD could use some polish. Certain elements feel cluttered or hard to read during fast-paced fights.
• Sometimes the game feels way too bright. For example, the ground texture in some areas almost blinded me, and there were moments when I couldn’t clearly see teammate markers, which led to me accidentally shooting allies.
• Achievement ribbons or badges like in BF3/BF4 would be a great addition. They added extra motivation and satisfaction during matches.
So far, I’m enjoying the beta and really hope the final game ends up being as close as possible to Battlefield 3 and 4 in terms of style and gameplay feel. Curious to see if others had similar impressions or completely different ones. Do you agree with some of them, or maybe you had a completely different experience? Curious to hear what others think about the current class balance, HUD clarity, revive rewards and general feel of the beta. Would love to read your thoughts or suggestions too.
Looking forward to what comes next.
