Matchmaking on BF6 is a total and utter abomination.
I refuse to play against PC hacks with Crossplay so I play only with Xbox players. Yes there are still cheats on console but I’m exponentially cutting down on the possibility of playing against cheaters and keyboard macro abusersby not playing against PC gamers.
At any given moment on BF6, I can queue for Conquest and get repeatedly placed into Conquest servers that have 5 to 20 humans that are waiting for the match to start. Wait three or four minutes.. the match never fills and I back out to main menu. Repeat the process and get put into any other number of servers with 5 to 20 players. So at any given time there’s 5 to 6 Conquest servers with 5 to 20 players, none of which ever fill up and start a match.
On the other hand, I can hop on BF1, BFV or even BF4 at any given time and via the server browser I can find a match and either get put in line to get into the full server or get placed instantly into a match.
GG Neu DICE!! I guess the tried and true system that’s worked for 20 years just wasn’t good enough for Neu DICE.
