BF Pro Token. Do I use it? How does it work?

Can someone tell me how the BF Pro token works. I have it as part of the Phantom Edition, but I wanna know how it works before I activate it. 

Do I only get one of these? Does it only work for this season? How do people get more of these in the future? 

I just wanna know before I activate, yknow?
