PC players are ruining gaming

Cross play between consoles needs to happen without having to include every cheating piece of **bleep** on a pc. If you want battlefield to go the way of COD then don’t fix it but if you want a chance to overtake them, separate pc and console. Everyone on a console is sick of this **bleep**. It’s enough already

Don't make people laugh, console peasant. PC players do not need cheats to be better than you. "Everyone" he says. Speak for yourself.

For several years now there have been as many, if not more, cheaters on console.  Millions of cheating devices like cronus sold.  Do you think they're buying them to not use them?  Not to mention things like AI cheats on console.  I join one game and there are always 3-4 console players with a 8 k/d+ becuase of cheating.

Well if you really want to hear it.  BF use to be PC only, so there's that .  Don't like it, go back to COD.  Worst thing they ever did was let console players in my opinion They have had to dumb down everything so your consoles pea brain can handle it.  And don't even get started about the auto aim advantage console players get!   Most PC players are asking for a no cross play switch so we can get rid you guys!

Pc players don't want crossplay, console players don't want crossplay, but some exec in EA thinks it will make them more money so here we are.

  • I play on console with keyboard and mouse. While I am glad that I can choose to not play with PC players in situations where cheating is likely (like when a challenge FORCES me to play Gauntlet), I would much rather have the choice not to play against controller users. It is absolutely ridiculous how often I lose an engagement against a controller. It is frustrating and makes me just stop playing far too many times. I get in an engagement where I am trying to track them while they are jumping and running, and at least half of my shots are hitting, but they win EVERY TIME because almost none of their shots miss.

Original Poster: Turn crossplay off.  There, you got your wish.  Now, what about us who don't like controller's overpowered performance?

When it was PC only, cheaters were easy to identify and ban.  Now everyone's excuse is "aww it's just aim-assist" when 9/10 it's not.

I just identified 8 pc cheaters in 4 games, all with prior steam game/vac bans.

  • There are losers cheating on both console and PC. To think otherwise shows just how incredibly clueless you are. And since we're speaking of ruining gaming, I'll tell you what else is ruining gaming, especially FPS gaming. Dumbing FPS games down for console & controller players and not giving PC players an option to avoid them, has ruined FPS gaming. You console players will complain about PC players cheating, or that we have such a great advantage, yet you all are okay with the game being dumbed down for you with this controller BS. How can you think that's okay? How is being handheld in your FPS games even fun?

To be fair, PC cheats are WAY more powerful than console cheats and way easier and cheaper. For console, it is impossible to wallhack, aimbot can only be achieved with special and expensive video capture setup to a PC with AI vision software that is no longer being supported and then a special piggyback device which is no longer being produced is used to inject data into the controller's stream of data, and even then it is limited to what is visible on the screen, can't detect anything off-screen, and has issues with lighting and stuff.  Not saying it's okay or not a problem, just saying what the problem looks like from a legitimate console player's perspective.

On the other hand, when no cheating is taking place, it is obvious that controllers have an advantage. Let's focus on what can be done to balance legitimate gameplay. Since any control method can be used on any device, crossplay control isn't the solution. Cheaters can and should be handled separately.  Both are problems and both have different solutions.
