BF6 Extreme Breakthrough Imbalance

Its not you, it's reality. Even in real life defenders have it easier and offense has it harder because they have push forward without being behind cover while defenders can stay behind cover. If they balanced it out evenly then it wouldn't be "breakthrough" just a small scale conquest.
All you can do is find friends to play with as a dedicated squad and use strategy. I use a mortar and hit the areas the defenders are posted in, dont always get a kill but it can make them run from their spot and get killed in the open, or the constant explosions around them may distract him as infantry move up closer or try to flank. I noticed that a majority of the time offense loses is because #1 to many snipers on their team #2 tanks camp in relative safety because all they want is kill counts and not the objective #3 lack of teamwork.

Breakthrough by design is meant to favour defenders. You are supposed to barely win. Can't see any other reason for this other than by design to mimic real life.

As you say, attackers MAY win 2/10 games at a push. This does increase significantly if you have a squad or two with full comms. For a solo server, you will never win on attack.
