I am an Asian player and in the third phase of the third season, I only had a worse gunfight experience. Firstly, after DICE cancels the Hong Kong server, we can only go to servers in Japan or Singapore, and my latency is in the range of 80-110.
After this update, I am completely unable to compete with opponents with 5 ping, and I cannot even see them in my camera. I am knocked down. In order to make my game more interesting, I can only use a 120 ping delay to connect to European servers to play, because to be honest, European server players are much more open and honest than Japanese players. There are many cheaters and campers in Japanese servers.
I even heard about latency abuse on European servers, so I sincerely invite them to come to Asian servers to experience whether high latency players can really rely on network latency to abuse low latency players.
For me, getting DICE to fix the server is more urgent than those so-called gun modifications. The first priority should be to let the bullets go where they should go, rather than disappearing out of thin air.
Also, seriously discuss this topic. I think it's best to keep only one of the random recoil direction, random dispersion, and visual recoil, but there's no need to completely eliminate the other two. Instead, reduce them to a range that hardly affects gunplay. For me personally, I prefer COD style gunplay because compared to the gambling like experience that spreading brings me, I prefer the feeling of being able to control firearms on my own.
I also strongly agree that developers should create separate firearm data and unbind the relationship between bullet types and damage, as this is absurd.
