First the base game is trash and we paid, redsec is better in every way and its free.
2nd noone is asking for a mil Sim, we a more immersive experience. Even if your points held its ground about mil Sim, BF shouldn't play like COD. No one is asking for manual mag reload, gun jamming, heavy object should be carried by vehicles "supply lines", fuel system for vehicles, and so on....
3th I agree the it should be a tactical arcade but thats not what we got, team play is optional, maps are small and movement is fast so its meat grinding, classes are unbalanced, skill, gadgets or paths are pointless some even before the game starts. Game is a mess, it looks good but crap is crap even if you dress it in gold.
Examples:
Special ops: is stealth frontliner but recon signature set only helps backliners so it already lost half of its effectiveness before the game started, his skills are situational as maps are small and you can't move for more then 3 to 5 seconds at best before you engaging the enemy which makes most his skill useless
Intercept systems for support: useless as all explosives dmg and AoE has been nerfed unless you hit dead on which defeats the purpose of explosives
Idea of the classes is that each is better at something but can assist the others however support is better at everything except destroying vehicles, engineers are solid as a class, recon is best at spotting/support basically a survailance camera for everyone else, and assault has a little of everything but sucks at all of it, ladder and beacon are its best features but most players don't like to play a support role cause its boring
It should be like tactical arcade like battlefield 1, battlefield 3 or battlefield 2. I don't want like as Hell let loose. But being completely like Call of Duty damages the image of Battlefield.
