It's been a huge disappointment for me to be honest. I played a lot of COD over the years but they've run it into the ground with predatory practices, SBMM, EOMM and the fancy dress parade.
Battlefield is very quickly becoming a COD emulator. I played the beta and although I wasn't particularly happy with the increase in speed it felt as though it was returning somewhat to it's roots. It looked good, played well and was essentially an enjoyable gaming experience. Not any more.
The 'fixes' required are quite extensive and they're seemingly being ignored in favour of Reds**k. It sounds resentful to some extent in that I want it to fail but only to expose the ill feeling in the community and attempt to force them to take action. TTK vs TTD, Hit registration, Net code, cheaters and the infuriating exploits plaguing the game are just too much.
They have obviously reduced the map sizes deliberately to increase engagements and more than likely to goad people into playing Reds**k because the map is more akin to how 'Battlefield' maps should be. I don't like being coerced.
I can only hope they realise the error's of their ways and start to pay attention. It's currently unplayable for me in it's current state.
