AK 205 underpowered

We all know that the AK 205s damage doesn't make any sense in the game. It has its own pros(its laser precise, and easily controllable)but the damage makes it lose all short distance firefights because of the ttk. There are SMG's that do 25 or even 33dmg and they fire 9/10mm or 45 acp pistol cartridges this compared to the AK which fires 5.45x39 is absolute non sense. How would an smg do more damage at any range than an assault rifle round?! Please fix the AK's firepower.

I love this gun, and yeah it sucks at close range there needs maybe some give an take on it, if it was better close range in present state it would be to overpowered and become the meta and you don't want that

Eh. They made guns categorical rather than implementing realism. I don't think the 205 has any issue if used at appropriate ranges. But if your talking about actual calibers and their potential power, then of course this game makes no sense.
