BF6 looks like a cheap BF2042 mod with a BF4 skin, and here’s the main issue…
I’ve been saying for a long time that nothing in BF2042 works the way it should. BF6 turned out even worse. It looks like a cheap BF2042 mod dressed up to resemble BF4. From dull character personalization to player cards and stickers for kids, plus rushed features like Training Path, a syringe for the assault class, and other half‑baked ideas.
I could write plenty of criticism, but all of that is secondary. The main issue is that hardcore TTK has become the basis of the game. I love hardcore mode and always played it exclusively. But why make hardcore TTK the core of the standard modes while still keeping spotting (for recons) and slow switching between weapons and gadgets (for engineers)?
Hardcore TTK combined with slow weapon switching and, most importantly, the marker above your head is a complete contradiction. You come out of a firefight with minimal health, yet every enemy can see you because someone tagged you. They rush in and shoot from all sides. It’s absurd. How does a glowing marker above your head fit with the idea of realism you claim to bring in by enforcing hardcore TTK?
