overweightfather I actually agree with you on this. The current point system can feel really restrictive and sometimes even punishing.
There are a lot of situations where you’d want to build something more tactical or specialized, but you simply can’t because certain attachments are overpriced for what they actually provide.
For example, the red laser could easily be 5 points instead of 10. It doesn’t make the weapon overpowered at all, it’s just a small usability boost. Same thing with suppressors — 30 points is really expensive for something that mainly gives you stealth but also comes with downsides.
I understand why extended mags or thermals cost more, that makes sense from a balance perspective. But a lot of attachments feel overpriced compared to their actual impact.
A good example is the M45A1 pistol — you can’t even run a suppressor, extended mag, and laser together. And honestly, even if you could, it wouldn’t be overpowered at all… it’s a pistol. The limitation just removes build flexibility without really improving balance.
That’s really the core issue: the system limits creativity more than it balances gameplay. It would be much better if more attachments were reasonably priced so players could experiment with different tactical setups instead of always running the same optimized builds.

I like the 100point system if it were truely 100 points, the secondary 60 point system is atrocious there isn't a single secondary you could consider overpowered maybe the m44 but I say just like bf4 it's more skill than overpowered cause the only 1tap you can get is within 20m with multiplier ammo
You can't really have "builds" and I don't get why, if only 1 guy could deck out his rifle yea I'd say it's overpowered but if everyone could it's not
I do say thermals should be 20 points theyre very good but the thermal red dot shouldn't be 35
Your basic attachments should be 0 then your 1st tier fast mag,rds,laser, flashlight, flash hider, mag catch, lightweight ammo, should be 5 points then it has a linear scaling to the point system
I don't even think magazines should cost as much as they do 1 cause the speed hindering it massively effects ads and sprint recovery and 2 you still have spread max values the longer you shoot the higher they are the less you hit so more bullets doesnt necessarily equal more kills
They really need to hire me cause I'd fix this in a day...and I'd do it for free I just want a good battlefield game again like I'm 15 again
