And to Dice:
If you want people to play the game, enjoy the game and keep coming back to play the game, you NEED to give us all the tools and settings we had in 2042’s portal.
Because I can tell you now that people will not keep playing this game as it is now.
And I’m not saying that based on my opinion alone.
I play with 10-15 people regularly. You might think “pah, is that all? Big deal”
But let me say this..
These are people from all walks of life, varying ages and from different parts of the world.
And they all (ALL!) think the same. There are even some that we used to play with that have literally walked away from the game already. Those of us that remain are finding it extremely hard to find reasons to continue playing this game.
I guarantee you that if you gave us a full compliment of features and settings in portal, you would see player numbers stabilise and increase.
And I’m not just speaking for those that use portal to create experiences, I’m speaking for those that would then JOIN AND PLAY those experiences.
Have a look at portal and the browser right now.
It’s a ghost town.
And it’s because of what you’ve done.
