I've been playing in the Training Grounds playlists with bots, and it's frustrating that kills from those matches count toward my K/D. That completely throws off my stats. I want to be able to practice and rank up weapons in bot lobbies without it affecting my performance metrics. Please change this — it makes it harder to track real progress.
Bot kills should just be calculated differently in general.

Agreed. Tracker.gg was able to display real player vs player k/d in 2042 so I don't see why they couldn't do it here as well.
The positive is that it stops people from getting obsessed with K/D. Healthy for that.
I agree. I’ve always been a bit of a KD wh*re and having the “self inflicted” need to stay positive kind of put me off getting another BF title. If I know I can just go and stat pad to stroke my ego, I don’t care so much about the odd bad game and I’ll just PTFO. Having a family and a high pressure job means I can’t invest hours into a computer game.
If the OP cares so much then just don’t play against bots. At least he’s being true to himself even if others have inflated stats. Levelling your guns against them seems just as bad so maybe don’t do that either.
Yeah this is ridiculous and needs to be fixed as well as corrected retrospectively. Why even display it in the profile as one of the big profile stats if it is completely diluted?
Bots in general should not be tied to normal progression. They are a learning tool and a temporary fill up for server, they have nothing to do with "multiplayer" progression/stats. XP from bot games should be time-based to stop farms and K/D and SPM unaffected.
If they disabled progression for bot servers portal would actually be usable.
Right now they are adding all this fancy scripting and stuff and nobody can use it because of all the bot farms.
Enjoying an experience without pressure makes all the difference to the enjoyment itself.
its just a way to lvl up ranks and practice. is there skill based match making here? ;)
Kd is a cod thing. Wins and losses are all that really should count. If you care so much about your kd play team dearhmath only.
The kd obsession is ridiculous. My 8 year old niece could maintain a 1 kd is she played.
