I hope the devs understand how many of us are just average Joes where after 10 hours of work we just want to shoot some rifles and smash some bots. We want to have fun in the game but we have so much responsiblity in life and we just need a moment to escape from relatity without being competitive. I was shocked when I saw the patch notes today saying that the game is meant to be played as pvp not pve.We don't want to cheat and we don't want to spend hours on it after a long day at work. So it is legal for us to just chill out in our own bots room and enjoy the game at its purest? Is this against the law to have backfill bots in a local environment where you are the only player that's trying to have fun? Can you please go get the cheaters and hackers and not some exhausted middle aged men/women? For the love of God bring back the backfill bots option in Portal.

What should be illegal is EA's bait and switch. I bought this game (along with many of us casual players) because of the fact that they advertised full XP and weapon progression in Portal. They said you can play your way and still have progression. This was a huge selling point for me as I am also a casual player who enjoys the laid back / stress relieving and FUN way to play against bots. I was having a ton of fun on the Solo / Co-op mode against bots with my buddy on 2042. Why they couldn't make this an option on BF6 baffles me.We as consumers, who bought this game for the advertised fact that we could play the way we wanted, were simply lied to. I didn't care for bot farming, I just wanted to squad up with my buddy and have a good time playing against bots, but thanks to EA's lack of oversight, some people (as they always do) find a way to exploit portal. Unfortunately the casual player paid the price for EA dropping the ball.I'm not sure why people are trying to bargain for reduced XP and slower progression against bots either. This was advertised to be included. How hard can it be to figure out? Don't allow portal editors to have bots with less health or have them be unarmed. Problem solved. That eliminates the farmers.Games should be fun for EVERYONE. But again, like so many gaming companies, their main focus is on PvP. The casual gamer was duped into paying for a game with their hard earned money, for features that were advertised then swiftly removed from the game after purchase.This is False Advertisement, shady business practice, and simply wrong.

I prefer playing against other players. I play Battlefield for the PvP. I absolutely hate bots in normal Multiplayer......and I agree with you 100%. The people that just want to frag bots should be able to do so; and the people that want to play against other players should be able to, without bots.I don't understand why this is so hard for DICE to get right.

I´ve contacted Steam and tried to explain the literal fraud EA has commited, but to no avail. No one gives a **bleep** at valve, so it seems.
The last game i´ve ever bought from EA. No only because of their incompetence to differ between bot matches, and those [redacted] bot farms, the whole game is in alpha state at best. Those Hit-Reg and netcode issues can cause the funniest moments.

For some reason this is a crime. I suggest allowing verified portal modes with xp and mastery unlocks in solo mode hosted locally. They can create this option. No denial. However; Silence and no support. There are some solo conquest servers available but with only xp unlocked. For who wants the codes PM me. How beautiful this game could be with more tweaking on the bots and unleashing solo vs well trained bots. And advertise on it. You would making more money than with this mess. But hey thats just me..

-Edit: there were 2 portal conquest experiences working for solo pve, not farming maps but simply conquest with bots. As of today, these seem to have been disabled, also. I really dont understand why this is being treated as a sort of crime. So, now I' m really done with this game and EA.
Going to wait for Glory to the Heroes for a more realistic experience. Also you can use all kinds of vehicles and weapons. Coming soon, check it out on Steam.
