For some reason this is a crime. I suggest allowing verified portal modes with xp and mastery unlocks in solo mode hosted locally. They can create this option. No denial. However; Silence and no support. There are some solo conquest servers available but with only xp unlocked. For who wants the codes PM me. How beautiful this game could be with more tweaking on the bots and unleashing solo vs well trained bots. And advertise on it. You would making more money than with this mess. But hey thats just me..
-Edit: there were 2 portal conquest experiences working for solo pve, not farming maps but simply conquest with bots. As of today, these seem to have been disabled, also. I really dont understand why this is being treated as a sort of crime. So, now I' m really done with this game and EA.
Going to wait for Glory to the Heroes for a more realistic experience. Also you can use all kinds of vehicles and weapons. Coming soon, check it out on Steam.

Thanks a ton for keeping this topic alive dude. Hats off to you for standing up for people like us. I've been away for a while now and don't plan to come back until they allow us to play without some sort of hack. I think it is a fair ask and if they don't listen to our feedback then it's not like I'm going to beg for them to fix this. We as players have options. I have a tendency to play battlefield because I had ton of good memories from battlefield 1. I was still in school don't have any obligation in life other than some school assignments so PVP was fine for me. But 10 years later I have stuff to deal with and if this is no longer the game I feel comfortable playing so be it. Just note that my departure is probably a one way ticket.
I'm sure you also got push back on your fortum (probably from younger folks) about how it's unfair for pve players to get to unlock the gadgets easily and how most people appreciate the pvp style only. Honesty they are not wrong but my take is this. If you want to grow your market you need to generalize. More people you get more attention you have and more money you can make. From PVP gamers perspective it's also a win because the investors will make note of this demand and bring better content (for all of us) to it becuase the player base is there. It's like playing basketball. Sure many people like to play pickup games at YMCA or community centre but there is also the non competative folks that just want to shoot some hoops without getting tangled up with 5 other guys. Can you imagine one day the head of basketball association is going around to ban people from shooting hoops unless it is pvp? How much revenue do you think they will lose? All the pro NBA players will be happy with this?
I'm pretty much done talking on this fortum. This is simply ECON 101 common sense. If they don't get it then fine let's move on.

Thanks. You know, I just had a laugh over this. Being 50 now, I have only a few things I prioritize. My kids, brother, my pretty non-feminist old fashion Ukrainian girlfriend and work. Pretty amazing stuff, being able to anger me over a game isnt it😅
However, they made hundreds of millions thus far with promises broken. This is what is upsetting me foremost. A lot of people are being ignored, at least, it seems so. Is it about the xp farming? Perhaps, or partially. Basically, they have punished elderly players, disabled people, people with busy and demanding jobs, all kinds of people who cant compete with these bunny hopping slipping and sliding kids playing for hours on end. I am very upset for all of us. Even these kids who play pvp and dont want bots in their game. Also being ignored. The game is being ruled by cheaters, xp farmers and sweats who make these "casual" modes anything but fun. And starting portal games with a demand of multiple people and then a handful of bots. Ridiculous concepts. Total nonsense. I dont know what the general stances are for EA and Dice but its a mystery to me. So customer unfriendly, amazing stuff. Best of luck to you all folks. EA? -1 customer...

...well said, such a sad state of things :-(
In over 40 years of gaming I've never seen 95% of the PvE game-type removed from a game, after release, and made into a pure PvP before...never.
They did this long AFTER my 2 hour return window yet Steam refused to issue me a refund, even though the game has completely changed after release.
Steam gets away with murder and Valve employees are the type of people who would do unspeakable things to your mother and force you to watch. Cruel people = cruel company, period.
