Bring Wake Island back to Battlefield 6

Question

As a long-time fan, I strongly recommend bringing the classic Wake Island map to Battlefield 6. Its return would honor 20 years of series legacy and delight veteran players. Additionally, please adapt this iconic map for the upcoming free Battle Royale mode. Position it as a fast-paced compact map (inspired by Rebirth Island from COD: Warzone), with these enhancements:
1. Expand structures across the island based on real-world layouts;
2. Add multi-story buildings to the airport as central combat zones;
3. Design dynamic water-based areas with shipwrecks or floating platforms.
This modernized version would seamlessly blend classic design with contemporary gameplay, offering instant recognition while refreshing the tactical experience.

If there's one map I hope they don't bring back it's Wake Island. There have been several reworks of the map and it never stood out as a particularly good map. It's very open and has tons of sight lines. It inevitably leads to vehicles and snipers being very dominant, while the regular infantry struggles to find meaningful cover.

The Battlefield V rework mitigated this to some degree by placing these bushes everywhere. So you have tons of snipers, tons of spawn beacons and you'd not even find them all that easily. It broke the flow of the map quite significantly.

Your idea of "Expanded structures" or "multi-story buildings" would probably mitigate this to some degree, but at that point, you'd probably be better off just making a new map that isn't a horseshoe shape. Perhaps something closer to the maps of the Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC. A map like Wave Breaker, is honestly quite a bit better than Wake Island.

I would like to experience any Battlefield 2 map in upcoming title. Favorite Battlefield 4 one is Dragon Valley for a good reason. Wake Island rework 👍🏻

Yes. Please!!! Bring Wake Island to Battlefield 6.&nbsp;&nbsp;I signed in here just to express the need for this. I've owned every Battlefield release.&nbsp;&nbsp;We want Wake Island on BF6.

Yes Wake Island is my favorite map of all times. But I would also like to have Strike at Karkand, Road to Jalalabad, Mashtuur City and Kubra Dam back. Well I liked many of the BF2 maps.

But no the map should still have the feel of the original maps not fully changed, the BF3 Wake Island map was okay, but Wake Island needs undestructuable bunkers and structures like it had in BF2, or else you have no cover at all as infantry, that is what sort of ruined it in BF3.
