Battlefield 3 and 4 are exactly the return to "classic Battlefield" that hardcore Battlefield aficionados want!
I played Battlefield 5 a lot, but even I know that it's time to put WW2 on the back-burner and return to a form of modern warfare that's relevant to today (but not like BF 2042).
As far as last-generation graphics, I believe that the current graphics are excellent and will allow smoother rendering of video (and audio) in the environment of utter chaos in multi-person online warfare. It's got to play smoothly!
I appreciate that you've been "watching the latest Battlefield 6 gameplay videos" (and so have I), but thousands and thousands of fans played the two open beta weekends and I don't hear a lot of complaining about graphics! Mostly what I hear is that people are asking for buffs or nerfs or tweaks one way or the other, but that is totally legit and it shows they are invested in how the game plays, and that's a good thing.
I, for one, feel that this Dev Team doesn't struggle to understand what we want -- they actually know what the Battlefield community wants, and based on my open Beta experience I believe they're going to deliver!
