More than likely you're just not good. Mouse/keyboard will always be superior. Though console aimbots have become very good and allows console players to be competitive in public games with average gamers. In some games they become too good as the aimbot is too effective, and mouse/keyboard players will complain.
I do like crossplay and think it works well for games where most people are using a controller, like fighting games or casual racing games. Balancing console aimbots with PC players using mouse/keyboard is always a tricky thing to do. I'm not sure it works so well in fast paced FPS games. Battlefield 3 and 4 had a large player base without console gamers.
