Dear Battlefield Developers & EA Team,
As loyal fans of the Battlefield franchise, we are calling for the implementation of native keyboard & mouse (KBM) support for PlayStation and Xbox consoles in Battlefield 6 and future titles.
Why this matters:
- Player Choice: Many console players prefer the precision and comfort of KBM but want to enjoy the stability and accessibility of console gaming.
- Fair Cross-Play: Other major shooters like Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Apex, provide KBM support, ensuring a more balanced cross platform experience.
- Accessibility: Not all players can afford or maintain a high end gaming PC, KBM support allows everyone to compete on equal footing.
- Community Growth: Giving console players the same input flexibility as PC gamers makes the franchise more inclusive and competitive.
Our request:
We respectfully ask the Battlefield development team to prioritize native KBM support on PlayStation and Xbox for the next Battlefield installment. This feature was long requested during Battlefield 2042 and is essential for the future of cross platform play.
Why it matters for sales:
Many players in this community (myself included) are on the fence about purchasing the next Battlefield if this feature isn’t included. For some of us, KBM support is a deciding factor when it comes to investing in the game.
If you agree, please like, comment, and share this post so the developers see how important this is to the community.
Let’s make Battlefield accessible for everyone and worth buying.

Sorry mate, I'm against you on that one. I see what you mean from an input preference and flexibility point of view, but there's a reason why input is designed to match its native platform. In terms of fairness and competitive play, let me use Fortnite as an example. In Fortnite, Console-Only tournaments are hosted for console players to compete against each other, but Epic allows native keyboard and mouse support on consoles. This creates an unfair playing field, as KBM players have full range of motion compared to console players who are limited by stick-dependent movement.

You hit the point. It is unfair to have pc players in consoles.lobvies without the full input movement. And, PC players can use controller and thus have aim assist...
So, we want the same, but from the orher side. COD does this from years now, and nobody complains about that.

I think the real solution here is to implement input-based matchmaking as an option.
I get why controller players don’t want to face KBM users…. it can feel like an unfair matchup. But let’s not forget: controller players already have aim assist, which in games like Warzone can actually outperform raw mouse aim in certain situations. KBM just offers different strengths: faster precision and wider range of motion.
So rather than limiting consoles to one input, why not separate by input type?
• Controller vs controller (with aim assist intact).
• KBM vs KBM (whether on PC or console). This way, everyone chooses their preferred input without unbalancing matches, and consoles stop feeling “locked down” compared to other, more flexible platforms.

Putting console players in PC lobbies without MnK support doesn't make any sense.

I have merged two similar threads together.

In the game COD we have seen keyboard and mouse support for many years. Everyone likes it. BattleFiled has the lowest ratings in the XBOX store and absolutely everyone writes in the reviews to add keyboard and mouse. Listen to your customers. Solve this problem. Do not ignore the community.
