Constructive S2 Feedback - 4/10 Below Average
- The map is average, but still far too small and boring. I've seen all they offer in about three matches.
- The netcode and TTK issues feel worse than they were before.
- AI generated stickers are not content, and need removing. They are an insult to proper game developers and artists.
- Team Balance matchmaking is even worse.
- Some outfits and skins still feel far too flashy and over designed. We don't need super bright colours on everything. BF Pro skins are a perfect example.
- The new weapons don't feel any different nor any more useful, as per many that already exist. Grinding 1000 hours for a suppressor or scope isn't worth anyone's time.
- Having outfits that are "currently unavailable" is pointless, and looses revenue needlessly.
- Bundling outfits with AI stickers and charms we can't show off is pointless and needs addressing, and more of them need to be free to unlock by earning them.
- Jets are becoming more and more neglected, yet anti air is being added to.
- REDSEC having the odd cloud of gas isn't content, nor an update. If anything it's a waste of time.
- The roadmap presents very little enticement to return to the game, and the interesting parts seem to be temporary. A FOMO marketing plan for the product is a waste of everyone's time, and "new weapons" that are clones of other weapons, add to this problem, as do bikes.
- The current roadmap ideas need bringing forward to flesh out what little Season 2 is, as waiting months for tiny bits of content or 2 extra maps, isn't going to keep the player base.
- I'm also experiencing regular graphical and gameplay glitches on PS5 that have been in the title since the beginning, and fresh glitches on top. It's very frustrating reporting them to no update nor avail.
- Bots. Due to matchmaking issues, I'm getting regularly put on a team of bots, against a team of players or visa versa. I didn't buy the game to play against bots.
4/10 - A very average and underwhelming season so far, which I can't see many players sticking with after a couple of weeks, before returning to Arc Raiders, or other titles. The development team need to actually play their game regularly, and see where the issues are, and address them with fresh mindsets. If they aren't willing to change things up and fix core issues, then I suggest they work on other projects, as battlefield has suffered enough over the past few years.
