No, the point isn't "pathetic" or about not having women in the game—it's about customization and player comfort, something any quality competitive title should prioritize. Everyone reacts differently to certain audio stimuli; for some, higher-pitched voices or those with a certain timbre can be tiring or distracting, regardless of whether they're male or female. Therefore, asking for an audio filter isn't absurd—it's asking for one more option for everyone, without removing content. Regarding the presence of women on battlefields, I don't deny that they exist—I just emphasize that, historically, and even in modern military scenarios, they are a minority in direct combat. Having the option to configure voices is a matter of immersion and choice, just as we can choose skins, languages, or HUDs. In short: it's not about denying reality or excluding, but about giving the player the freedom to shape their experience in a way that's more enjoyable and immersive. This benefits everyone, without harming anyone.
Its a bit pathetic… if you cant handle the tone of peoples voices that’s a you problem bud, I’ve played it for 2 days now and not once have I noticed a female voice apart from the operator telling you when an enemy tank is in the AO. I came to BF from playing Squad where there are ZERO female characters and even to me it wasnt noticeable, you just need some thicker skin if you find it distracting, id rather they put more time into cheaters, level design and gameplay issues as opposed to identity politics
