This is a military shooter that caters to 95%+ male audience. When I keep hearing a female voice every time I’m revived in an active combat zone, it really takes the realism out of the game.
My friend, who served as a Marine, never had any female members in his squad during active combat missions in his tours of duty in Afghanistan.
Can DICE please give us the option for male Engineer and Support classes with male voice-overs. It keeps the realism for those who want it, without taking choice away from anyone.

Reddit is blowing up about this after launch. 80% of the battlefield is female when both support and engineers start female lol. Also, Support has 0 male characters.
Not only they start as female - NATO support has no male character at all.
100% agree. I'm not saying take the women out, but we need male and female for all classes off the default. It's just silly that the class carrying the most gear and the heaviest primary (LMG) is female-only right now.
Somebody or some people at EA think its entertaining to see females be gunned down and then hear them moan and wail as they fall and scream for help.

I think placing any soldier screams while being injured is unnecessary.
Not too mention that a major portion of actual players are white males and we have almost no representation in this game.

In real life white males are the highest percentage of combat fatalities and wounds.
Give us the option to choose our own gender FFS!!!! I dont want to scream as a girl when I am a man playing!!! WTH are EA Dice thinking!?
Just give us white/yellow/black skins and male or female. Don't need any bio for characters. Unit bio is enough and interesting.
I'm starting to get really frustrated, i tried for hours to unlock a male support. EA what are you fools doing !!?? Just let us choose mal or female or just stop it with the many many female characters. F this game, i'm out. Check it lin a few months perhaps.
Wait, de_Vlissinger what do you mean unlock a male support? Did you manage to find a male support on Nato side at all?
To make it worse, if you spend all the time unlocking the only male support character via Squad Deathmatch Challenge 1, it refuses to unlock the character. Progress is complete, no character. I think I now understand why I rarely see support players in servers anymore compared to launch.
As a male, where is the option to thumbs-down the OP? Why are you guys so caught up in the gender thing and acting so toxic? Is your war roleplay fantasy adventure too restricting that you can't imagine being female or being around females? Get over your mommy issues already! Video games are supposed to be an escape; let go.

You're right. I can't understand the issue. Because it is not an issue.
You can imagine yourself a war hero who can run forever, carry too many weapons from somewhere inside you, kill like crazy, and respawn whenever you want in this extemely realistic simulator (sarcasm), but can't imagine being a woman or having a woman anywhere near you in that situation. It's just sad and toxic. I feel bad for you if something in your life makes you get hung up on this.
Why don't you use your critical thinking and present your argument about why this matters and why you are unable to imagine a world where women can exist in this game.
