Those worried about gender and race in a game don't have anything better to do and are sensitive to the smallest things. It's like worrying that your thumbs-up emoji isn't the same color as your hand. I played "Beyond: Two Souls" without giving a thought to the fact that I'm a female character who, in real life, transformed into a dude. I played "Alien Isolation" as a female character, hearing a distressed female voice while being slaughtered by a xenomorph, and I wasn't crying on forums. Just go play The Sims if you want your character to look like you.
