People run scrips on them to control input , so when you shoot a gun the recoil is virtually 0. its people that use controllers. I just feel like it removes the skill . If your LMG is like a laser gun with no recoil that's kind of cheating in my eyes.
I think the other problem are hall effect sticks. They have much lower deadzones so its much easier to control recoil. Its unfixable but Sony and MS have to add hall effect controllers to 10th gen consoles so devs could increase recoil. Normal sticks and hall effect - day and night when it comes to controlling recoil.
My guess is that they don't really have a big incentive to do so, unless it comes at a significant premium. Hall Effect sticks almost entirely reduce the chance for stick drift. Stick drift is probably one of the main reasons why people buy new controllers every few years.
They have to because devs need to adjust recoil for lower deadzones than mechanical sticks. I remind you dont have to buy a new controller just give it to repair shop to install hall effect sticks in every avg. city someone does it. Its much cheaper than a new controller so console companies wont benefit from **bleep**ty sticks that much.
