RatedChaotic - I normally agree with everything you say. However, the reduced recoil, low/no bloom, and ability to track through smoke is a game changer. I do agree that controller players need some type of aim assist. However, I personally feel it is too strong...especially added with the other benefits.
Battlefield 6 is COD...at least it seems like it with all of the COD-like attributes. And, I agree...it is an epic (no EPIC) failure.
All I'm asking for is for consoles and PC to be closer to equal for those of us that refuse to use unfair aids to gain an advantage. If I wanted an unfair advantage, I'd program my keyboard to reduce recoil. If I wanted an unfair advantage, I would create an unnatural lag in the game. These are all possible with MNK. I refuse to do so. Yet, it appears that EA/Dice is allowing just that through their programming for console/controller players. Should I also do something to gain an advantage? If so, I refuse and will play something else that is more fair to all....but please know that I could if I so desired.
As a case in point, I did use a controller on my PC one night. I had 18 kills and the only game I use a controller on is Rachet Leegue (it's too hard to drive the car otherwise). I do not use a controller for any other game but thought I'd try it one night for BF6....18 kills...for someone that NEVER uses a controller for FPS's. I rarely aimed and just let the system aim for me. It snapped on to players....it tracked players through smoke...
I stopped using it after that one time and refuse to use it again because it was so overpowered.
Again, I normally agree with you on just about every post you've made but cannot, in good conscience, agree with you this time. My evidence is personal experience. I've personally seen it. I know what I know and controllers are OP. No one can convince me otherwise.
Peace out brutha...and much love.
