Crossplay Forced ON now

Is it possible you need to remake the edit because of the update?

I re-edited it and it makes no difference now.

fair enough then, thats a bit rubbish for people who want it turned off,

I have no idea why we as a gaming community do not have a choice. My Game, My Choice kinda thing.

I also noticed that friends who have crossplay ON, I can join them again, so it's definitely a server side thing now.

Yeah I'm also done with this game. This is not a community driven experience for all.

This game is insane. I feel like before they sold all those copies, they were listening to us somewhat. Now that it's sold they are doing whatever they want.

I play on PC. I want to play with other people on PC. I dont care about aim assist. I care about the sync issue between PC and console that isnt getting fixed.

Yep. I'm getting this too. The tile says "Crossplay OFF" but I am put in cross-play lobbies.

I wouldn't be surprised if they've disabled it on purpose, but even if it's a mistake/bug it's awful.

It's a horribly insulting console bias. Not only do PC players not get the option in settings like console players do, when we work out how to get cross-play off they prioritise sending cross-play on PC players into cross-play lobbies and we end up in bot-filled servers even when there are hundreds of thousands of players on our platforms online, ie. PC players are effectively used as cross-play lobby 'filler' before being matched with other PC players.

PC players having cross play "on" does not mean they _want_ cross play lobbies it means they at best don't mind and at worst don't know how to fix the situation.

And now they've broken even the bad-but-only option we had.

And EA/DICE have made no comment whatsoever on this subject. Neither addressing the cross-play bias nor the detrimental effect on netcode.

Truly awful service and treatment.
