Made me a couple of custom experiences, bot backfill, squad spawn type = all. Enemy bots only spawn on one static place and my teams bots literally just farm the other bots like in a bot farm, they gather around the spawn and just shoot every bot that spawns immediately, it's looks like you've input the machine learning from the bot farms. There's not a single bot on my team neither enemy team (if they had the chance) that disperse into the map to actually play or create a playable game. Also why is there no option to add capture the flag or something in custom experiences? are we just supposed to shoot each other endlessly without a goal? And since you've removed the bots from verified experiences, there's no reason to mention those, they are dead, like who is going to make a verified server and wait until anyone's joining, maybe they get lucky if one person joins after a half hour. Like what are you thinking removing bots, the entire portal experience is useless.Then i made me a flight practice map on liberation peak and there's no Jets or heli's spawning?Like what is going on here? Is this a game or what is this suppose to represent?! Because i haven't got the slightest clue anymore.

Tons of players love playing with bots. That's correct but EA and DICE just removed it. We are not useless people who can spend nearly 18 hours per day to play a game. We have work to finish, kids.... Play with bots can help me to stop anytime i want, not wait unitl that match finish. Please EA and DICE, take bots back.

You're correct...there are none of the usual/popular game mode templates provided for us to use in "Custom" Portal mode.... and there needs to be, if you want to play with bots in Conquest or any of the other usual/popular BF modes.You'd think that before cutting us off from bots in Portal they would have at least provided us with a bunch of custom templates for Conquest, breakthrough, Rush, etc so that all we'd need to do is select "botfill or static bots", a difficulty level and the maps.They're so smug about it too...I mean they didn't even bother saying something like, sorry guys but dont worry we are bringing them back soon with custom templates that everyone can use to play with bots in all these modes:" x, x, x" in Portal....just give us a couple weeks to work it out.Nope, all they said was something like "we will think about some ideas to bring the bots back at some point in the future", and oh yea we still get to keep your money.

I made a couple custom team deathmatch maps. I would have made "verified" maps if they offered them (like they offer in official servers). Point being, I had to make the spawn points, and they work fine for me, with bot fill.No offense, but I am guessing that there is something you could do differently to make them work.Are you making the spawns in godot? Or how/what are you doing? I think I can help if I had more info.The thing is, if you use the default map data, the spawns for each team will all be clustered in one tiny HQ box for each team. What I did was download the map data in Portal, open godot, and manually edit the json map data file in a text editor using coodinates measured in godot. You can do it in godot too, probably faster, but I don't entirely trust godot's exported data.You can open the map in godot, the defaults will be displayed, you drag stuff around visually, export it, and hope it works as expected. Or you edit it as x,y,z coordinates manually in a text editor.

Well i assumed using the default would give me the full experience, guess i was wrong, is there actually something that's working correctly in this game?!

You should be able to assign object IDs to objects in your custom map and then tell the AI to create a path to that object. There are various ways to tell it to cast rays to "see" and navigate objects in its path with the ability to place waypoints along the top surface of terrain.
It's a lot of hand-holding and who knows if the server will crash with all that workload.
The battlefieldbehavior AI that uses default map terrain performs so much better. I don't know how it works and why it doesn't work for custom terrain.

Bro bots still just spawn and die endlessly. WTF DICE I be trying to make wake island and can't even put bots. Even found a conquest template and everything. MAKE THE BOTS WORK ON CUSTOM TERRAINS or something. Give us NO xp toggle if xp farm is a concern. I just want to play bf6 custom maps bro :(

When you create custom servers in the Portal, it does not have the AI for the bots. They just mill around the spawn point and do nothing else. Why they could not provide the AI based on the game and map by default, who knows. Much of what they do is beyond comprehension.

They promised full progression. If they didn't then limited would be fine. In many games you can play with multiple characters. They can have one that can be used for Portal only games and another for non Portal PvP. Don't cross the streams and provide full progression.

viethoang24, exactly. It's not that I wont try multiplayer sometimes but I rather relax and play bots (especially because of all the hacking, who cheats at a game...man that is beyond pathetic). I've gone back to BF2042 a few times when I just want to play alone or every now and then with my son. If EA does not fix this, BF6 will end up being a waste of my money and if this is what they want to do moving forward then I will just move on.

I agree with VinnieDA, I’m an old BF player…since BF2, and as I’ve gotten older, married, kids and I play casual at this point after work for a match or 2 and sparingly play multiplayer so what they have done to BF6 with bots and XP is making me think I should ask for a refund at this point. I do not have the time to grind multiplayer servers to unlock weapons and attachments nor do I want to deal with all the aim bots and cheats I’m seeing in Multiplayer. I’ve been building PC’s for decades so I’m tech savvy but I do not program (can’t stand it) so when I looked into GoDot it looks like Greek to me so if that is the only way to get a bot game server I can play casually this game has become pointless for me. They had it for BF2042 but not BF6, it’s just moronic and yet ANOTHER failure from EA. I’m about to walk away from this game…one of the few I actually still play.

Simply put, it's unfair to a large portion of the player base that people who have no lives and can play the game all day, everyday and worse, make money off the game, are able to progress at a quicker rate than people that have lives and responsibilities.
Since you removed the ability to get full xp and progression from playing against bots in legitimate, verified and unmodified servers as advertised, it's only right that you limit the amount of xp and progression that can be earned in a 24 hour period.
I figure that since the sweats, tryhards, K/D kiddies and content creators that are making money off the game can complain about bots then I can make the argument that the playing field needs to be leveled for everyone.
So what's it going to be? Restore full xp and progression for bots or limit the amount of xp and progression earned in a day?
