Devs Please

I've played Battlefield from BC2 right through to 2042 and seen the game get gradually more watered down and "mainstream" to attract casual gamers (with no friends).

I've always been part of a large group of gamers so it was always fun to be able to find a community hosted BF server via the server browser and join a game where there were active admins and a friendly group of gamers every evening to play against.

BF2042 has completely split the community as there is no easy straight forward way for this to happen anymore (please don't say this is what portal is for, it isn't fit for purpose).

In BF4 there were active communities where you could jump on and play on a server with class limits, hardcore gameplay and where questionably players could be kicked or banned by the server admin.

There was also no crossplay so games were much fairer, I'd prefer to play against players using the same type of platform and controllers.

Right now there are 6 of my group online so 4 can play and the other two can attempt to join the same server which is down to luck if an active player from the same team leaves to open up a space. The way the servers are dynamic just doesn't work for groups of players who want to play together.

So listen, please give us back all the things above that used to make BF a community driven and fun game to play with friends.
