Dice and BF6 are both Trash.

The hit reg has gotten significantly worse after this last update. This is their best at trying to fix a huge glaring issue that's plagued the game all the way back at the tech tests. It was very noticeable then, and increasingly more so after these updates.

Instead of playing into the games strengths, they designed BF6 in ways to only exacerbate the issues. Knowing that the hit reg isn't the greatest, you then choose to make all the maps tiny. Get way too technical with all the code and have everything effect spread. As usual, use way too many props and geometry on all the maps that bounce your character all around while trying to aim at anything. You'd know that if you clowns actually played with a mouse. Tons of weird collision instances that clearly shift hit boxes way off from their actual character models.

I saw this coming since the tech test. Dice clearly didn't learn any lessons from 2042 other than, let's paint by the numbers and give people what we think they want. Even doing that, they fail. The maps took 5-6 months to build?! They look fantastic, but balancing wise, utter trash. Every map is a single lane that funnels everyone to the center. It's objectively bad design for anything but maybe break through, which is a garbage mode to begin with.

Out of all the reports I've submitted, I think only one super obvious rage cheater got banned. Another blatant cheater I ran across that didn't get banned though, their lowest accuracy on their worst weapon was 60% hit rate. When I played against them in a round, it was clear they had walls and probably an aim bot. No ban for them though. I'm now running across people jump shooting and jittering around landing crazy shots. No way is that legit in BF6. The penalties and weird mouse behavior half the time doesn't allow for that to be a consistent play style. When I slide, my sensitivity will get locked in, or I can't aim properly coming out of it. The game is really busted with movement penalties, no consistencies whatsoever. So someone bouncing around insta-killing is not legit.

I returned BF6 twice, like I said, I knew it was trash from the beginning. I had thousands of hours in 2042, and BF6 felt identical in all the worst ways. The only reason why I purchase this utter piece of garbage a third time was because my puppy had died, and I desperately needed a distraction.

Just wanted to vent and say that this game is a soulless take on what they think Battlefield is. The game play is utter slop. Dice needs to get people involved that actually play the game in development. Get of the f'ing controllers, use a mouse, and learn to respect your PC consumers.

Management doesn't get this game. You made some quick money with the hype on this one, but not sure if that's going to last... I mean, REDSEC? You guys really thought a BR was a good decision? What an absolute joke.

Gunfights in BF6 always feel like a 50/50. Even when I have the superior position or get the jump on the enemy, it always feels like a gamble. The game is constantly fighting you with all it's animations, spread that isn't applied correctly, and quite a few bugs with the mouse input. Hell, even when I'm standing still, the spread is different at different times, just like 2042.

The game is thoroughly busted, so when people are that consistent, they're probably not legit. I can't even get the slide to feel consistent in this stupid game. Sometimes you can slide cancel, sometimes not. Then at the end of the slide, sometimes my mouse feels like it's sensitivity gets halved.

Factor in the desync and bad hit reg on top of all that...

There's cheaters, Dice couldn't be bothered to catch some pretty blatant ones in 2042, not sure why that would change now. Companies love to throw around big numbers at launch, "we caught or blocked this many cheaters". Like they just stop, cheat developers just throw in the towel, "welp, we tried to cheat and make a ton of cash".
