EA allowing racist behavior

I find it concerning that with the release of BF6 that EA puts profit over moderation of the server chat.

Recently I reported (234944802) blatant racism in the chat and ea claims no further action would take place.

I find the persons actions in the chat to be highly questionable, but EA's response to be worse. How is it that someone can act in that manner and EA take no action? This is where BF4 reigned supreme having server owners that would moderate and take action where required.

The only action you can take is to report anyone who violates the community guidelines, all other steps are handled by the EA ToS team. In some cases, it may take up to 14 days for a final decision to be reached.

EA/DICE want to keep everything under their own control, even though they know they can't oversee everything and actively respond to serious situations 24/7 – but for some reason, they don't care.

Everything worked better during Battlefield 3 and 4 because players took over these responsibilities – instead of bothering the developers, who should be focusing on fixing Battlefield's current bugs and further developing their work (new game modes, maps, equipment, etc.).

Eventually, someone from their ranks will get fired and EA will hire someone with balls and a head on their shoulders - otherwise this game will cease to exist in a few months.

I was playing against a racist a-hole on the other team, goes by the nickname: [Edit - CM]

    Dude should be band.

  • This has been my experience, as well.

In fact, I was given a one week temporary ban, for calling out a racist.

The moderation is a joke. Making things even worse, people can have a different name in chat and on the scoreboard, so you can't even find them. It's like a free pass... so dumb.
