Steam discussion boards are not the best place to have actual discussions as they quickly lose the reason someone is discussing a point. I too have been banned when talking about soldier gender and reporting troll "representation" threads. As an Army veteran, I would LOVE it if we went back to the BF3 soldier call outs during a gunfight. Yeah, you know which ones I am talking about.
If you still want to support the game, cancel with Steam and then go to the EA app (or any other major distributor) and pre-order there. I doubt anyone from the official BF forums is going to go ask to unban your Steam ban. Steam forums are the worst and moderated by god knows who. It's just toxic all around.
Also, the beta is over so they are probably not going to unban you for the sake of continued discussions there. Eventually those discussion boards will be wiped or removed before the launch. They have already removed pinned discussions from EA/DICE. You're wasting your time there. This is a much better place to share your thoughts and moderators are some extension of EA.
or how about... and get this, a crazy take, one does not preorder a game at all? Because its been proven MANY MANY times to be objectively truly dumb thing to do. I know.. crazy, amirite ?
Honestly, I wouldn’t pre-order this game. I sold all my CS2 skins so that’s why. On a normal average day, I would never pre-order any game.
