EA Play Members BF6 Compensation for Non-Availability at Launch

Am I mistaken, or were those of us affected supposed to have access to the Season 1 Battlepass because of the EA Play error at launch?   With those who bought the premium package, which included Battlepass getting Season 2 access. I'm playing Season 1 now and am only accessing the free stuff.
