EA Play Rewards trouble

Hello, my issue is the following: I have EA Play Standard on my EA account but I never received the rewards. I checked the in-game message inbox and there was nothing. I should also point out that the subscription is on the EA account and the game is on my Steam account, but they are linked. So I don't see a problem from that side.

  • I already figured out the solution. If you have EA Play on your linked EA APP account on Steam and on the latter you have the game license, you need to download the base game from EA APP to credit the rewards. I did that and it worked correctly for me.

    Yes, It's happens the same, and yes, you need the "base game". That is you need to buy it, I did, I claim the rewards and after refunded it instantly. That works but I would have taken advantage of the free trial when it was available instead.

    What do you mean by "base game"? I downloaded RedSec on EA app, tried to launch it, but it wouldn't let me. It said my account is restricted. I'm not banned or anything, I was able to boot up BF6 through steam shortly after. After booting RedSec through EA app, I checked my full game on Steam and I did not see any rewards in my inbox. So when you say base game, do you mean the full $70 game. So you're telling me I have to spend $70 for BF6 on EA app to get rewards for EA play? If that's the case, that's absolutely insane..

  • Yup I'm in the same boat as you, welcome to the club. Been a month of contacting EA support back and forth and nobody has been able to solve my issue. This whole things has been a nightmare, worst customer support experience ever.
