False banned in Battlefield 6, not once, but twice
Hey,
As a player who has played the Battlefield 1–4–5–2042 series, I can’t play Battlefield 6. Why?
Because something happened to me about 4–5 months ago when I bought the game and started playing.
I GOT BANNED. I still don’t know why I was banned. I submitted appeals multiple times and made explanations, but none of them worked. After that, I gave up hope, downloaded BF5, and played it for a while. And yes, surprisingly, I didn’t get banned. In fact, I’ve never been banned from any of the Battlefield games. I deleted and reinstalled the Battlefield series multiple times and played for months/years without any issues. I can still play other Battlefield games without any problem.
So why did I get banned for the second time in Battlefield 6?
About a week ago, the game went on sale again on Steam. I created a new Steam account and bought it again, hoping things would be different. Today, I entered the game for the first time and played about 3 or 4 matches with my friend on one of the community hardcore servers. Then, in the middle of another match, I suddenly got banned.
Right now, I’m somewhere between laughing and crying, and I still want to learn why I was banned.
In the background, I usually have Spotify, my GPU driver software, audio driver software, Vanguard (Valorant’s anti-cheat system), Wallpaper Engine, and WhatsApp open. I don’t think any of these would cause an issue—if they did, I would have been banned from at least one other online game.
I also don’t think I was banned because of my hardware. If that were the case, I would have been banned from other games as well, especially other Battlefield titles. Still, for those who are curious about my setup:
Glorious Model D Gaming Mouse
ASUS ROG Strix Scope RX (Red Switch)
I’m not sure if I should expect anything from the community regarding this issue, but I hope someone with authority sees this and reaches out.
