From what I can see, you don’t actually run faster even though it may feel that way: they changed the audio for running, with footsteps coming in faster even though the actual speed hasn’t changed.
BF3/4 was better because the soldiers moved like they were weighed down by their kit, not like some parkour guy running around in his underwear. The amount of people jumping around corners is ridiculous. Try doing that IRL with an assault rifle.

On the Cairo Siege map, I tested running at my team’s spawn point. The sprint speed either hasn’t changed or has changed only very slightly. But the footstep sounds themselves now feel faster. This is complete nonsense. Battlefield is supposed to be about the feeling of war. What is this nonsense where a soldier runs like in a Tom and Jerry cartoon?
