Hi there,

I'm happy to let you know that custom Lobbies and Spectator Mode are arriving with Season 4 Phase 2: Top Gun on August 18 through Battlefield Labs in Live.

Building on the foundations of Portal, Custom Lobbies will give hosts more direct control when setting up and running a match. Hosts will be able to assign players to specific teams, adjust select match settings, and organize private sessions or community tournaments, with Spectator Mode providing ways to follow the action.

Initial support will include Battle Royale Quads and Conquest, with additional modes planned as the feature expands. More information on these features will be shared in a future article before the Top Gun update launches.
