Fix Flare cooldown and Below Radar abuse
The AA vs. Air balance is officially cooked. I don't know who decided to stack Below Radar with the current mountain/terrain layouts, but it is making the ground game miserable.
Right now, if you are a decent pilot, you are basically immortal. You can just farm the lobby, pop flares the second a lock starts, and then immediately dive behind a peak or hug the deck to stay Below Radar. By the time the AA is even reloaded or cooled down, your flares are already back up and you are coming back for another pass.
The AA feels like it is shooting spitballs. The velocity is too slow to actually lead a fast-moving jet or a sweaty heli pilot at range, and the dusting is still out of control. It is not skill-based when a pilot can just cycle the same 30-second loop of hiding behind a mountain and resetting their health.
There are two ways to fix the flare spam:
Massively increase the flare cooldown. It should not be possible to cycle flares, hide behind a mountain for 10 seconds, and have them back before the AA can even re-engage.
OR
Give aircraft a hard limit of 3 flare charges total. If a pilot wants to stay in the air all match, they should have to return to base to rearm once they have burned through their countermeasures.
Either the AA needs a massive projectile velocity buff so we can actually hit what we are aiming at, or the flare mechanics need a total rework. Fix the Below Radar threshold or give us AA that actually has some teeth.
