The SEASON 2 CATCH-UP HARDWARE 4 Challenge is extremely slow to do because EA/DICE reduced the DGMK’s range by 70% down to 15 metres. There barely is any oppurtunity of benefiting from it. The challenge specific being ”Destroy enemy vehicles or gadgets” 15 of them becomes really difficult and slow. It’s not logical. Its range should be 30 metres minimum!
Try several rounds of Breakthrough on Contaminated as there seems to be plenty of mines laid around there … it’s pretty easy with that map and how I got mine completed with a few other maps I tried but, Contaminated was by far the best, imo
When I did it I played big maps and used it on mines. Got it done in one round on firestorm
DGMK on launch was an excellent gadget. Now, it's literally trash. Unusable trash. At the range that it is effective you might as well just knife or shoot whatever you're trying to destroy with the DGMK. Very sad hyper-nerf of an actually good gadget.
Yeah that was an annoying challenge to complete after the nerf. I had to resort to hunting landmines and spawn beacons to get it in the end.
