FPS games lost its magic.
The state of FPS games have never been worse. Way too many people cheat. Way too many people abuse aim assist or uses ai aim controllers/cheats.
The point of playing an FPS game is to get better and develop a good aiming ability learning flanking understanding strategy figuring out how to read the game. If nobody misses a bullet due to aim assist what is the point of playing an FPS game? If people wallhack what is the point of playing the game? They know where you are. You can't use your flanking skills or anything else because they will just go around you. Hold the angle on you and kill you.
I'm not blaming EA or Dice or anyone here. They are trying to fight cheaters but they are unbeatable. For every employee there are thousands of unemployed coders making cheats. The only thing they could do is separate console from PC or at least give an option so pc could have a decent chance of having fun and not getting aimed down 24/7. In case someone plugging in a controller into a pc then don't grant it any assist whatsoever. You know they deliberately want to abuse the broken aim assist. They have their mouse and keyboard they should use that in an FPS game.
This game desperately needs an actual kill cam or demo system. People wallhack like crazy in games where there is killcam and demo you think they will not wallhack in BF where there is nothing? The chance of getting caught is literally 0.1%. You can't even prove wallhackers you can accuse them but you can't prove it because you can't see what they have seen. Even if you are right nothing will happen to them. This is why insane amount of people are wallhacking.
I know people don't care about it but this is most likely the last FPS game that I ever bought. I realised long ago that there is literally zero reason to buy or play FPS games anymore I just thought this time it would be different. I strongly suggest to reevaluate the state of FPS games and don't support games like these so maybe cheaters/aim abusers will stop once they are the only ones left killing each other in these games.
