Gamepad recoil nerf widens the gap and hurts console players.

Season 3 Controller Balance Feedback - C PAD Players Feeling Significant Disadvantage in ADS Mid-Range EngagementsDear DICE / EA Battlefield Team,I am a dedicated player using controller (PAD) who has been enjoying Battlefield 6 since launch. I fully understand the difficulty of balancing Mouse & Keyboard versus Controller in a crossplay environment, and I appreciate the work the team has done to make the game more fair. However, after the Season 3 update, I and many other console players are experiencing a clear shift where controller feels noticeably disadvantaged in most practical situations.Specific Issues:The controller recoil reduction was reduced from approximately 25% to around 10-12%. Combined with the global increase in recoil and especially the increased horizontal random recoil / bloom, it has become very difficult for controller players to maintain accuracy during ADS.

Due to the physical limitations of analog sticks (limited range of motion and thumb precision compared to a mouse’s wrist and arm), correcting unpredictable horizontal randomness is significantly harder on controller. This results in frequent bullet spread and missed shots, particularly in mid-range ADS fights (the most common engagement distance).

Near range (hip-fire or very close ADS) is still somewhat playable thanks to Aim Assist and netcode factors, but mid to long range engagements have become heavily disadvantaged.

Meanwhile, the superior movement tech (advanced sliding, bunny hopping, quick crouch cancels, etc.) available to Mouse & Keyboard players remains untouched. This creates an imbalanced situation where one input’s advantages were nerfed while the other’s ceiling was left intact.

Many console players, myself included, must enable crossplay because console-only matchmaking often has low population. We love Battlefield and want to keep playing, but the current state makes it feel like we are fighting an uphill battle against both the weapon mechanics and the input gap. What we are hoping for:A more predictable recoil pattern (less random horizontal deviation) that controller players can actually compensate for.

Further refinement of controller-specific settings (Response Curve, Zoom Sensitivity, etc.) to better address the physical differences of analog sticks.

Consideration of the full input parity — not just recoil reduction, but also the movement tech ceiling.

I am not asking for controller to be stronger than mouse & keyboard. I simply want the game to feel fair and skill-based for those of us committed to playing on console with a controller. We are the same Battlefield community, and we want the game to thrive for everyone.Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback. I (and many others) are happy to provide more specific clips, data, or testing if it helps the team.Best regards,

i use controller on console PS5 with No aim assisst , that aim assisst needs to be nerfed or removed completely , its literal aimbot for consoles 😊 and i refuse to use aim assisst , never have and never will.
