Yes They Should.
I agree with you Lambda9595, bots in my opinion should be fully removed.

I'm going to have to selfishly disagree. I play with bots quite a lot for a few different reasons, and don't think I should be penalised for doing so.

Agree, the big argument for bots in 2042 was no campaign, now there is a campaign so no need for bots.

Why not just let people play how they want to play? If you want to progress in multiplayer matches against players only, go hard. But some people just want to chill and use cool **bleep**. I don't want to stress about getting 200 headshot kills with snipers against other players. I suck with them and don't really enjoy using them. But I do want to unlock everything. I like the fact I can just jump in and far bots for a while.

I disagree. Right now, upgrading weapon attachments is incredibly tough. Without progress tracking from the bot, it’ll take me forever to max out my weapons. What’s more, the difficulty of both weapon attachment upgrade tasks and equipping challenges should be lowered—we should go back to the progress pace we had during the beta test. Once players get their hands on weapon attachments, bot lobbies will shrink, and way more people will come back to multiplayer.

Is there no pride in your rank any more?
It makes ranks pointless, it makes things people should be proud of in multiplayer feel pointless, its outright boosting and should be stamped out.
People work really hard to unlock stuff then others just outright cheat to get the same results.
Stats dont mean anything anymore.
Tell you what, they should separate portal progression from normal progression, you can unlock anything you want by boosting but you can only use it in portal.
That way people that actually work hard to rank up and get unlocks can start taking pride in it again.

I really dont care how people progress in the game they can do what they want. People who progress with bots only ruin it for themselves if they go overboard with it.
What bothers me is that I want to host proper Portal servers with locked weapons (because there's only one option in main game mode options) for all modes, but I cant spin up servers because its exceeded, unless i sit clicking host for an hour.
I think they should just add a solo/coop option (like in 2042) with full prog, and hopefully it eases up the server space for those that want to host proper servers.

I think what you said makes a lot of sense, but we seem to be focusing on different points. I'm not opposed to games having high-difficulty tasks or slow weapon attachment progression; the problem is that this is simply unreasonable. Battlefield 2042 only requires nearly 300 kills to fully unlock weapon attachments, while Battlefield 6 multiplies that number several times over! If you think this is reasonable, please first complete 150 headshots from over 200 meters away without using community bots—don’t stand and talk without feeling the pain! After all, everyone has different amounts of time to spend on gaming!

Additionally, bots should not count towards stats such as revives / kd ratio.
