I haven’t committed to a battlefield game since BF1 because, and this is not DICEs fault at all, it’s EA who makes the over arching decisions, doesn’t believe in a hardcore mode anymore and it’s a direct reflection of how much EA cares about its money versus player immersion into a good battlefield game.
I will not play BF6 after testing it out and finding it to resemble CODs play style on top of the fact there is no hardcore, it takes away from the immersion, the bigger focus on teamwork, the real TTK.
But again I whole heartedly believe EA doesn’t care about the players that fell in love with this franchise for what it had, EA is moving forward to shape BF6 into a black hole game with a new player base in mind.
BFV was the indicator that EA is trying to turn BF into a franchise like Activision did with COD. Quantity over quality, micro transactions over thoughtful DLCs. COD is now a laughing stock to pro gamers, let’s see if EA can repeat history.
