Hardcore when??

I tried one hardcore server on Portal in BF6 and couldn’t see my weapons status, what class I was playing, my squad, or any of my gadgets UI. Sorry but that’s just crazy.  

I played BF4 almost daily on Hardcore servers only for 4 years until BF1 went live. Skipped right over Cops and Robbers Hardline Battlefield.

Unless Ive lost my mind, I’m fairly certain that in BF4 hardcore  we could always see our Squad, our class, our weapon type, our ammo status and gadgets UI. There was just no minimap and friendly fire was in effect. This is the Hardcore we need.

that is one of the great parts of portal is customization but what we really need is official hardcore servers outside of portal. tired of hour long ques only for a party member to give up and leave backing the whole party out or even worse constant rejoining queues to get on the same team as the other squad mate...its so bad

When you turn hardcore on, that is the result. The game developer decided that hardcore, true hardcore, to get the "hardcore" tag in the server browser, has no hud. No hud at all. It's not the portal creator's problem. The game developer has made it a binary on or off option. You can't have it on plus some hud.

The funny thing is that when you join the battlefieldofficial's hardcore servers, they are not hardcore either. They have non-hardcore damage and just some of the hud removed. Essentially, their 'hardcore' servers are standard-core with some modification.  Silly.

The developers are confused.

bf6 needs hardcore for all game modes,  again they don't listen...

In the same way  that DICE has somehow dropped the ball implementing Mortars in a franchise that has perfectly functional mortars in previous BF titles, this is another instance of BF6 Devs not knowing anything about previous BF titles because they never played BF4. 

Dear DICE. Load up a BF4 Hardcore server and see how Hardcore Battlefield is supposed to play. Also take a look at how dreamy and perfect mortars are in BF4 and BF1. 

Your incompetence and lack of knowledge on the Battlefield franchise is on full display. BF6 Mortars suck and 3D spotting the mortar for the entire enemy team is beyond idiotic. “Hardcore” in BF6 totally removes the entire UI for our weapons, squad status  and gadgets. That’s not how hardcore works in the Battlefield franchise.

Get angry about my comments and then do something to change my mind. Prove me wrong, for the Battlefield brand.

you clearly never played hardcore in previous Battlefield games. The “Hardcore” settings in BF6 are a joke. Read the entire thread and stop looking like the uninformed clown that you are.
