HDR and G-Sync on PC Do NOT Work
HDR and G-Sync do not engage properly in Battlefield 6 on PC. This can be confirmed by the lack of an adaptive refresh rate, missing HDR pop-up indicator from monitor's OSD, and the simple fact that the in-game HDR Calibration cannot be adjusted to make both rectangles look identical (i.e., HDR tone-mapping is not being correctly applied).
All of these problems are immediately remedied when Campaign is launched, but return as soon as you go back to the game's default/multiplayer state. The HDR difference in Campaign is dramatic and clearly the way it's meant to look (not the dull, washed out, flat appearance in multiplayer).
G-Sync does seem to work at my monitor's native 3840×2160 resolution (monitor OSD shows a variable refresh rate) in the default multiplayer mode, but I play at 2560×1440 which shows as being locked at 240Hz (i.e., G-Sync/VRR not working).
HDR still does not function as intended, even at native resolution.
People need to stop claiming calibrating or tweaking settings can fix it. Only the developers can unbreak what they broke.
