How it ended with that bad glint on all scopes for sniper rifles?

Over the years they have made sniping easier so that it wasn't a 'wastes' class, but they made it's so easy that on some maps half the team would be snipers. The glint is there to deter every person and his dog from picking up a sniper rifle and taking (mostly) useless pot shots. I agree the scope glint is a bad mechanic, but unless they make sniping actually hard again, it needs to stay
