I’m not playing because progression is too slow.
The weapon, attachment, and vehicle unlock grind is too slow. I’d rather stop playing than spend that much time unlocking basic gear. Please reduce XP requirements or add faster progression.

Since launch, the team has continued to make adjustments to progression pacing across Battlefield 6 based on community feedback, especially throughout Season 2.
One of the biggest areas we’ve focused on is making progression feel smoother and more rewarding earlier in your play sessions, helping players unlock meaningful loadout options faster and spend less time working through slower opening tiers.
Compared to Season 1, players in Season 2 progressed through the Battle Pass over 2.5 times faster on average, leading to substantially more Battle Pass unlocks and deeper progression throughout the season.
We’ve also improved Hardware Mastery progression, with players now unlocking primary weapon attachments roughly 50% faster than before. These updates apply across all primary weapon categories and Sidearms, helping loadouts come together much earlier during progression.
We’ll continue to monitor progression data and feedback to help ensure progression remains rewarding, consistent, and respectful of your time.
