I love everything about this game but...

This is my first real attempt at the battlefield series.  I am a long time fan of West and Zampella.  Having played the original mw2 back in the day.  I played it a ton.   I have never been a "so great" at fps but even in Titanfall I had a .08 kd against human players.  This game?  I have given up on my favorite modes because I simply can't compete.  I have to play casual breakthrough just to enjoy the game.  Favorite modes or not, 0-8 and the like just don't sustain my interest.  I am level 57 with a .34 kd.  I don't want to "squad up" because I prefer to play solo.  I am disappointed that this will apparently soon be over because I love everything about this else about this game.  I have tried turning off cross play and watched about 10 hours of videos about how to get good.  For a brief time, it seems to improve but never maintains.  Anyone else terrible at this?

    Also, my gamertag on PS5 is actually "craptasticgarbo", epicfailtryhard is an alt.  Also from Xbox mw2 search and destroy days.  My personal best for losing streaks on casual breakthrough is 11 losses in a row.  I've read some complain about this game but still have a consistently positive k/d.  Not sure how that works but whatever.

    Update.  I just had a game of sabotage where I went 1-11.  I think it's progress but math makes my head hurt.

    Perhaps, I am not shooting at people and subconsciously aspiring to headbutt them without finding the button to do such quickly enough.  That would be the most plausible explanation.  Is it possible...one party sees the other...earlier?  Dare I mention...the dread demon....sniperfrog?

    All my battlefield friends are over 50yo. Playing with a squad on mic is a far better experience. If my friends aren't playing I don't bother.

    My wife refuses to play PVP and she was very disappointed when they stopped her from playing against bots in portal.

    We are all on PS5 too but in Australia. Yes, mate with age comes slower reaction time and eye sight issues.

    We must play smarter to compensate for what we lack.  We play casual breakthrough too. Good Luck!!
