If I wanted to play a PvE game, I wouldn't have bought BF6...

Ya... the matchmaking is really bad.

David Sirland calls it "seeding," and I call it boring and borderline criminal.

Ill move a jeep in a strategically positioned spot, turn on the radio and jump up to the gunner seat.... 

Next thing I know i have a bot thats spawned and jumps into the driver seat thats moved me out of position and most likely going to get me killed.... its bad enough when a teammate does it but its even worse when a bot does it. 

**bleep** that sucks. I can remember a day when we had such things as a server browser for official servers and server continuation where players stayed together and if you did not like the server or the map you could choose another. Sadly they will never bring it back to the detriment of the game. The people who make these decisions don't play, They just look at graphs and are clueless. If every senior dev and exec had to play at least 48 hours a week things may be different

PvE is a good thing for players that want something beyond the Campaign. PvE against bots is a way to extend the game value with solo/co-op against bots.  COD does this and past Battlefield games did this with PvE.

PvP does not need bots, so I agree with you. But remember not all want to play PvP and PvE has a purpose for some.

Somehow, there were no problems with this in the past, older titles (even Battlefield 2 with bots, with matchmaking in Battlefield 3 or 4...) were designed with intelligence - even with worse infrastructure, and today suddenly simple things to solve become an insurmountable problem for current designers.

On official Battlefield 6 servers, only players should be matched, while on private servers (portals), any mix should be allowed.

Introducing classic maps from previous games in the series will energize the entire community and help fill the current gaps in player participation – otherwise, there's no chance for a better future.

Bots are fine in Singleplayer Mode how it used to be in BF2042 and previous titles, but filling regular servers with bots is just stupid and ruins the game. There should only be bots in Casual Breakthrough, but not in any of the main game modes like Conqest, Escalation etc. if you select that in the main menu.

I don't get bots in the main game modes in central europe, I really only get them if I play Casual Breakthrough, so it's also very much a regional problem. I think most game servers are in Germany and I live there, so I can't have any problems finding matches without bots. But it must suck for ppl that live in Australia or something.

Removing bots fully should be priority number one for Battlefield 6. If it's not possible for Battlefield 6, then the following game.

As I have said in previous post, bots don't have a place in a multiplayer environment.
