I'm asking all playstation users to turn off crossplay.

There are a lot of cheats on the PC side. Even without cheats, many settings exist. For example, PC players set the graphics to the lowest settings. This allows them to see the environment more clearly and increase FPS. PC owners play the game at 150-300fps. You, on the other hand, are competing with them by getting 60fps on your PlayStation. Some players change the lighting settings from the game's notepad, even though there are no in-game settings. This gives them an advantage against console players. My KDA is around 3 with cross-play disabled. When I enable cross-play, my KDA drops to 1. I don't even need to mention mouse and keyboard macros. For these and similar reasons, I invite all PlayStation owners to disable cross-play. Don't worry about not finding games. Games are easily found. If you can't find a game in 2-3 tries (the lobby usually fills up if you wait a bit), search for Tsuru Reef; you can be sure you'll find a full lobby. I've been playing with cross-play disabled for a month now. My enjoyment of the game has tripled compared to before. On PC, there's a dedicated player base, mostly made up of cod players, who exploit every loophole, cheat, and advantage(tryharder) in the game. The enjoyment of the game is exponentially greater when this group(tryharder) isn't around and games more casual. I have 300 hours of gameplay in the game. I definitely think crossplay shouldn't be allowed at all. I previously had 2900 hours in BF1 and 800 hours in BF5, and I played those games on PC. BF6 is my first console FPS experience. The tryhard people wasn't present in bf1-bf5. Games were more casual. You cant see 50-10 kill death see in bf1 and bf5 but it is normal for bf6.

  • As a PC user I would love nothing more than aim assist console user to not be in the matches I am in. You mention cheat users well plenty of console users have hardware devices plugged in which the anti cheat cannot detect. These devices remove recoil and are completely programmable there are many you tube vids showing how this annoys other console users as well. Also unless you are on a 32" TV you say all us PC players can drop thousands for the best gaming setup?? You seen the prices of graphics cards and ddr5? oh wait no coz console don't forgot you can 'have all the right gear and NO IDEA'. So yes I can drop my resolution from 4k to 1024x768 but why this is not the 1990's and this aint the original Doom lol.

It also sucks that on PC you cannot turn of cross play you could add an entry to you profile but that now just states 'Cross Play Off' and does nothing.

The secondary problem is PC users can use console controller these devices and to add that extra layer of insult software cheats wall hacks extra aimbots. The completely pathetic Javelin does not find this either and these software cheats are promoted by streamers as 'Legit Cheating' and they make you a 'Pro Player'.  Even though have seen some account 'action taken' on cheaters I have reported its **bleep** prolific and even worse when people a grinding the new season stuff generally over all EA's action on both PC and Console cheaters truely does suck.

So it is play and accept it at this time. EA has your money and likely does not care but lets all keep screaming into the void. :-) when I face you in a match lets make each others deaths swift ;-)

As soon as crossplay was implemented it was the very first setting I would disable as it’s my strong belief console gaming and pc gaming are 2 completely different ecosystems that just don’t match. So from day 1 I’ve been on PS5 servers only.

I started my Battlefield carreer with BF1942 on PC and from those days it already was pay to win. Whoever got the best hardware would win. Back then I just had my first job fresh out of college living on my own paying rent and driving my first own car, so I could not afford a high end pc and the peripherals. But then you already had players who had a laser mouse vs players with an old fashioned mouse operating with a roller ball, guess who could be more precise.

This hardware inequality lead me to switch to PlayStation to get a level playing field when BF3 came out. Meanwhile I was earning decent money I just didn’t want it to sink it all into my pc to stay up to date and competitive. Cheating on pc was also one of my concerns although it was not as rampant as nowadays.

With console I got a closed ecosystem where everyone was using the same hardware free of cheats that would secure my gaming fun for years to come until a next gen would come out.

Unfortunately the equality on consoles also went out of the door with the introduction of devices like Cronus or even pro controllers. Yet still I believe crossplay is and will be a failed experiment.

And with that I als strongly believe PC players also should get the option to disable it.

  • funny because majority of the rollers i bump into are all snap aiming and insta killing so clearly there's also A LOT of console users cheating too.

and you guys get the benefit of having 15 percent less recoil across all weapons without attatchments, you get a bit less random spread, and, on top of that, you get a way overtuned aim assist.

I wish we pc could turn crossplay off as well but we are forced to play with you console cheaters.

Lmao. Thats very true. Console players cant go out and buy high end performance parts and put in their systems. Yet PC players can.

I've gamed on a piece of crap HP PC back in the early 2000s. Now I game on a top tier Alienware that I trade in for a new one every year. Performance between those 2 are like night and day.

I agree with your statement. Trying to balance console with PCs is like trying to balance a street car and high performance race car then have them race.

Wrong, because you  implied that controllers are only used on console. All inputs are available to every platform.

If you had skill you wouldn't need to over pay on your pc to gain an advantage. Thats called pay 2 win. Same philosophy cheaters go by, but because its lucrative for game companies and hardware vendors they say and do nothing about it.

Before the pc gaming push all gamers played on the same hardware with equal performance. Even cod was played on Playstation. As soon as they went over to PC the cheating epidemic went out of control via warzone and spread everywhere continuously to this day.

Pc gaming is not even competive anywhere outside a lan stage.

Its all pay 2 win and hide your cheats or tweeks or whatever extra settings you have or hardware you paid for, software included such as sound equalizer mods. None of this works on console only pc.

Don't act rocky cuz your on pc, I quit pc gaming because I was sick of being called a cheater, my skill is legit and im proud of it. Native Mnk on console vs the aim assist you cry about.

Low-rez does not give any advantage for spotting in BF6. Older BFs yes, but not BF6 or 2042.

PC defo has higher FPS options, but the CPU is flogged to death trying to keep up with the GPU, so input game lag increases, so not always a good thing.

Console defo has the 'snap-to' advantage, so aiming is faster.

I do think 60fps is too low for sweaty-try-hard BF. The 300fps gamers are just for the lolz at our gaming skill level.

    Cheaters in both camps.

PC's would be equally happy if they didn't have to play against console.
